Hello Sternal Journalists!
Very quick one this week. Instead of banging out the half-baked essay I had planned, I’m going to bake it a bit more and let you just enjoy this YouTube video I found this week. It’s 6 guys playing a trombone medley to some cows in a field. It’s beautiful. Airplay it to the biggest screen you have or just watch it on your phone while you’re pooping. I promise it’ll put a good sheen on the start of your week.

White Lotus Season 3 theme song. Television Show Theme Song. I happen to like this theme song even though a lot of people don’t.
Why We’re Polarized. Book. I just started this Ezra Klein book, but I can already tell I’m gonna like it. And yes, I am still in the middle of The Perfect Mile and A Gentleman in Moscow, both of which I’m slowly enjoying. Lemme know if you wanna read along to any of them or have read.
Relationship to Patient. Short Film. This touching, funny, just really really good short film by my friend Caroline Creaghead is up for Short of the Week’s “Short of the Year.” Yes, I am in the special thanks, but I don’t really deserve it, so you should watch. If you’re interested in short films at all, I’m telling you this is a good one. Also, it has H. Jon Benjamin (the voice of Bob in Bob’s Burgers and Archer in Archer). Watch (13 minutes), then vote!
Santa Monica. Song. I blasted this and other Everclear songs with the windows down and the sunroof open while driving to Santa Monica today, and it was a gorgeous choice. Everclear played Emory I think three times in one year when I was there. I gotta look into that.
